James Gilbert Moore, 53, of Lock Haven, passed away Monday morning at his residence of natural causes.  He was born July 2, 1964 in Jersey Shore, a son of James E. and Jane R. (Graff) Moore.

James was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School, Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport and received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Lock Haven University.  He was employed at Bro-Dart in Williamsport. James enjoyed reading, video games, music and computers. He really loved being with his three nephews, Corey James Moore, Matthew and Mason Sorgen and his cousin Jordan Demi.

His survivors include his father, James of Avis, his brother, Justin E. Moore of Avis, his sister, Jennifer L. Sorgen (Dennis, Jr.) of Lock Haven and his three nephews and cousin.  James was preceded in death by his mother, Jane, on February 24, 2015.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home. 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore, PA  17740.
