James Leeroy Davis, 30, of Jersey Shore, passed away in Reading, Sunday, July 9, 2017.

Born in Jersey Shore, September 6, 1986, he was the son of Dale Davis and Janet (McKean) Myers. James attended Jersey Shore Area Senior High and worked as an installer in the flooring industry.  He enjoyed outside activities such as swimming, hiking and bicycle riding.

James is survived by his father and stepmother, Dale and Tressa Davis of Lock Haven; his mother and her companion, Janet Myers and S. Beasley of Jersey Shore; two brothers, Devon and Joshua Davis, of Lock Haven; paternal grandmother, Virginia Davis and maternal grandmother, Marian McKean, both of Jersey Shore; his uncle and aunt, Keith and Elizabeth Davis, of Texas; his aunt Virginia "Ginna" Bauman; and a niece, Aubree Davis.

James was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Leroy Davis, Jr.; maternal grandfather, Lee McKean his uncle Dwayne Davis and his stepfather, Harry William "Bill" Myers.

There will be a public visitation for James, Sunday, July 16, 2017, from 1 – 3 pm with a service to begin at 3 pm at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore, PA  17740. Pastor Michael Guiswite, of Fairplay Gospel Church, Jersey Shore, will officiate. No formal attire necessary, please come your in your casual clothes.
