Obituary

Jaime Vee (Dingler) Miller, of 44 Chestnut Road, Jersey Shore, passed away at the age of 78 on August 29, 2024 in her daughters' home.  Jaime was surrounded by her loving family.

Jaime was born July 29, 1946 in Jersey Shore, the daughter of the late James F. and Phyllis J. (Gottschall) Dingler.

Jaime graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1964 where she participated in the band, playing trumpet, and singing in the choir.  Jaime graduated from the former Williamsport School of Commerce in 1966.

Jaime started her career as a clerk in Health Records at Divine Providence Hospital.  She later became assistant to Sister Emilene Wehner, SCC.  Jaime took time off to raise her children. She worked several part time jobs throughout her life including Unit Clerk in the Operating Room at Divine Providence Hospital and secretary at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jersey Shore.  Jaime retired from The Williamsport Regional Medical Center in 2008 as a clerk for the Family Center of Reproductive Health.

Jaime is survived by her loving husband Randolph L. Miller, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Jaime is also survived by her children and spouses, Mandy (Scott) Herald of Williamsport and Michael (Jennifer) Miller of Linden.  Jaime is survived by her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply, Nathaniel Paul Lorson, Joshua James Lorson, Caleb John Lorson, Olivia Raye Miller, and Jacob Michael Miller, her great grandchildren, Mathias Liam Lorson and Asher Paul Kingsley Lorson.  She is survived by her brother George M. (Karen) Dingler; brother-in-law, Dale E. Miller, and many nieces and nephews.  Jaime was preceded in death by her parents.

Jaime loved to do many and varied things including crocheting, painting Olde World Santas, refinishing furniture, working her perennial flower beds and mowing grass.  Jaime most enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

Jaime was a member of Oval Church where she sang in the chancel choir and served on many committees of the parish.

Friends and relatives are invited to Jaime's Memorial Service to be held on September 06, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oval Church 6796 S. Route 44 Highway, Jersey Shore, PA 17740 with Rev. Grant Helsel officiating.  The family will accept visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In Lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made to the Oval Church, The Gatehouse or to a charity of your choice.

The miller family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Nesbitt and all staff members of the Gatehouse who took care of Jaime.  We would also like to thank the entire Hospice Team who assisted us in caring for Jaime.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore, PA.
