Jacob Harry Finkbiner, 78, of Slate Run, passed away, Sunday, April 2, 2017, at his home. Harry was born in Phoenixville, PA, on April 26, 1938, the son of J. Harry and Elizabeth (Keane) Finkbiner, Sr.

Harry was a very skilled in carpentry and was extremely handy at building things. He made very beautiful furniture for family and friends. He enjoyed living in Slate Run and loved the Pine Creek Valley.  Harry was very passionate about animals and held a special place in his heart for his cats.

He is survived by two sons, J. Harry (Juli) Finkbiner, Jr., of New Berlin, PA, Rodney (Stephanie) Finkbiner of Raleigh, NC, a daughter, Laurie Szabo, of Phoenixville, PA, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers, Tom (Debra) Finkbiner, of Slate Run, Richard (MaryAnn) Finkbiner, of Landisville, PA, and a sister Faye (Robert) Rigg, of Raeford, NC.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Debbie (Finkbiner) King.

To honor Harry's wishes there will be no services.
