JERSEY SHORE - Iris S. (Sundberg) Dalberth, 93, died on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore.

She was born on June 20, 1923 in Jersey Shore and was the daughter of the late Arnold W. and Catherine (Berger) Sundberg.  She graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1941 and married the late Edward "Ned" Bassett in 1946.  Ned passed away in 1983.  She then married the late George E. Dalberth in 1991 and he passed away in 2012.

Iris lived in Jersey Shore her entire life and was a lifetime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.  She was a dedicated homemaker and loved going to the cabin and traveling to historic sights and any kind of family get together.

Iris is survived by one daughter; Karen Brown (Greg) of Trout Run, three grandchildren; Nicole Steinbacher (Anthony), Sunny Anthony (Jordan) and Blythe Spong (Martie), eight great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, three nieces and four nephews that were very near and dear to her heart.  In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother; Arnold Sundberg and one daughter; Lisa Bassett.

There will be a graveside service 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Jersey Shore Cemetery with Sandy Myers officiating.  Following the graveside service, there will be a Life Celebration at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, where a meal will be served.
