JERSEY SHORE  - Helen "Kay" Wiser, 73, of Jersey Shore, went home peacefully to be with Jesus

on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10:50 PM, with her beloved cat "Murphy" by her side.

She was born April 17, 1942 the daughter of the late Paul W. and Helen (Emert) Koch.

She grew up in Avis and attended Jersey Shore Area High School.

She married Bruce H. Wiser Sr. in May of 1958 and had three wonderful children together.

Helen was employed by Woolrich Woolen Mills but her special gift was caring for the elderly in in home care.

She loved her grandchildren and all animals but she especially loved her Labrador "Boomer" and cat "Murphy".

Helen is survived by her son Randy of VA and her daughter Elizabeth McAlister of Jersey Shore,

3 grandchildren; Ricky (Nichole) McAlister, Brooke McAlister and Tammi Moore,

4 great grandchildren; Damian and Hunter McAlister and Bailee and Tanner Stroup,

4 siblings; Myra (Kurt) Keen Hull, Patty (Graydon) Yearick, Glenda (Charles) Osborne and Paul Koch.

She was preceded in death by her son Bruce H. Wiser Jr. in 1975, her granddaughter, Autumn M. McAlister

in 1992 and her best friend Fred Labuski in 2010.

She will be sadly missed by her roommate Kathleen Franklin.

We would like to send out a special thank you to her caretakers at the

Fulmer's Personal Care facility and Jersey Shore Hospital.

The family will hold a private gathering at their convenience.
