JERSEY MILLS - Guy W. Swarthout, 74, of Jersey Mills passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Manor Care North in Williamsport' PA. He was born December 21, 1942 in Jersey Mills a son of Donald G. and Martha Perry Swarthout.  He was a Jersey Shore High School graduate and was employed by the former NY Central Railroad.

Guy's survivors include 2 sisters; Connie Swarthout of Jersey Mills and Nancy Lockard of Linden along with 8 nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, a sister Hazel Wentzel and her husband Jack and another brother in law Daniel Lockard.

Guy's Life Tribute Service will be held at 11am Saturday February 18, 2017 at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, PA 17740 with Pastor Robert Reagan officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 until 11am Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Okome Cemetery.  His family suggests contributions be made to the funeral home to aid with expenses.
