JERSEY SHORE - Glenn S. Lehman, 82, of Williamsport, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016.

He was born in Jersey Shore on May 25, 1933, the son of the late Chester and Sophie (Becker) Lehman. He graduated in 1951 from the Jersey Shore High School where he played several sports and served as VP of his class.

After graduation he served four years in the US Air Force.  After his honorable discharge he enrolled at Penn State, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering in 1960.  He began his work for the Federal Highway Administration as an engineer in Denver, Colorado, where he met and married his wife, Suzanne Speckman, on December 21, 1962. They later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where they raised their children.  His wife died on January 2, 1987. He retired from engineering in 1988.   Later he married Marie Eck on October 20, 1990, she passed away September 26, 2011.

Throughout his life he enjoyed sports, especially the Penn State Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He enjoyed getting together with classmates for breakfast each month. He also liked gardening, reading and financial planning.  Most of all he loved his family and spent as much time with them as possible.

Glenn is survived by his children, Perry and wife Cheryl, his daughter Brenda and husband Pat Sands, his stepsons Don and Paul Boinske, and his grandchildren Emily, April, and Shawn, and his step grandchildren Riley, Wyatt and Paul, Jr.  He is also survived by his brother Harold and wife Phoebe Lehman, his sister Helen and husband Dave Keister and his sister-in-law Isabel Lehman.

He is predeceased by his parents, his first and second wives and his brothers Harry and George Lehman.

A memorial service to honor the life of Glenn will be held at 11am Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore, with Pastor Helen Learn officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10am until time of the service. Interment will be held later in Phoenix, Arizona,
