Gale W. "Snuffy" Grey, 76, of Jersey Shore passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Jersey Shore Hospital. Gale was born in Wilkinsburg, PA on November 25, 1942, the son of Robert R. and Celia (Kinsler) Grey.

Gale was a High School graduate. He was a mechanic, employed by Marden's, Inc.  He married Gloria (Dunkle) Grey, on September 4, 1983; sharing over 35 years together.  Gale attended the Caldwell United Methodist Church was a member of the BPOE Elk, VFW and American Legion in Jersey Shore. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and camping; in most recent years his greatest joy has been spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife, Gloria, Gale is survived by 10 children; Yvonne Laubach (Dan), Lisa Nichols (Ralph), Annette Redler (Jules), all of Jersey Shore, Gale W. Grey, Jr. of Berwick, Michelle Greene (Charles), of Jersey Shore, Roberta Grey Hamblin, of Mansfield, Roy C. Miller, Jr. (Tessa), of Dover, PA, Julie Welshans (Jeff), of Avis, Theresa Winiarski (Bryan), of Lock Haven and Jason Miller (Stacy), of Avis; a sister, Nancy Reibert, of Indianola, PA.

Gale was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Grey, Jr. and a grandson, Joseph Grey.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore. Friends and family are invited to a visitation Friday, March 29, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family suggests donation be made in Gale's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third Street, Williamsport, or Wounded Warriors Project, 7020 A.C. Skinner Parkway, Suite 100, Jacksonville, Fl 32256.
