JERSEY SHORE - Frederick A. "Fred" English, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Frederick was born in Williamsport, July 15, 1944 and was the son of the late James Richard and Minnie (Clark) English. He attended Jersey Shore High School. He was a member of Buchanan Baptist Church. Fred was a devoted husband, father of 3 and was a farmer his whole life. Fred was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family.

Fred is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty J.(Beamer) English, his children: Frederick A. English, Penny A. (Michael) Wenger and Laura L. (Marcus) Wenger, 10 grandchildren and siblings: Marjorie Black, Carol Montei, Sue Greening, Janice Hensler, and Lucy Finn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Thomas English Sr.

There will be a public viewing 9 a.m. – 12 (noon) Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore where the funeral will be held at noon.  Pastor Robert Regan will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Christian Hill Cemetery, Warrensville.
