Ellen Jeannette (Killard) Dailey, 81, of Jersey Shore passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at her residence.  She was born May 25, 1939 in West Virginia, a daughter of James and Freda (White) Killard.

Ellen and her husband Charles Edward Dailey were married, Sept. 1, 1956 and were married for 44 years when he passed away in 2000.  Ellen was a homemaker her entire life and enjoyed painting, hummingbirds, gardening and growing flowers.  Most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother.

Her survivors include two sons, Charles E. Dailey (Roberta) and James Dailey (Nicole); four daughters, Nora Hopple (Michael), Charlene Burkholder, Deborah Hopple (Douglas) and Freda Showers (Troy) all of Jersey Shore. Ellen is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and sisters, Natalie Quorigo, of South Williamsport, Shirley Gustafson, of Oregon, Karen Aumick, Theresa McCormick and Patty Buck, all of Williamsport.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Charlie and a brother, James Killard.

Ellen's Tribute of Life Service will be held, Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:30 AM from the Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore with interment immediately following services at Chapel in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
