Elizabeth S. Hurd, 88, formerly of Jersey Shore and Harrisburg, passed away, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Wolf Run Village Assisted Living Center in Hughesville.

She was born in Lock Haven, Aug. 30, 1930, a daughter of Paul and Ruth (Harer) Hurd.  She was a graduate of the Geisinger School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse for Harrisburg Hospital and the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institute.  Elizabeth was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed and loved spending time with her nieces, nephews and family.

Her family includes siblings, Paul Hurd of Connecticut, Richard Hurd (Madeline) of Williamsport, Fred Hurd (Irene) of Cogan Station and David Hurd (Arlene) of Jersey Shore, Tish Bonner (Bill) of Jersey Shore and a sister in law Shirley of Pleasant Gap.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert and sister in law, Marcella Hurd.
