Eileen J. Huling, 94, of Jersey Shore passed away at The Nippenose Valley Village, Monday, Nov. 20, 2017.  Born in Jersey Shore, Dec. 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Furguson) Maurey.

Eileen graduated from the Jersey Shore Area Senior High School.  She was the loving wife of Paul L. Huling who passed away October 20, 1995.  They were married March 1, 1943 and shared 52 years of marriage.

Eileen had worked for the Porter Township School in Jersey Shore in the cafeteria and also at the Jersey Shore JC Penney Store.  She retired from the Jersey Shore Area School District where she was a Teacher's Aide at the Salladasburg Elementary School.  Eileen was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church.  She enjoyed ceramics, artistry, drawing and crafts.  What Eileen loved most was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Eileen is survived by a son, David L. (JoAnne) Huling, a daughter, Barbara J. (Larry) Carson, a grandson, Matthew (Teresa) Huling, two granddaughters, Madeline (Timothy) Smith, Marcia (Craig) Harter and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Faye Thompson, Velma Myers and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband Eileen was preceded in death by a sister, Josie Berry.

There will be a time of visitation for family and friends Friday, Nov 24, 2017 from 11 am to 12 noon at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore. The funeral service for Eileen will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor George Grossman officiating.
