Edith M. "Edie" (Weymouth) Markle, 80, of Jersey passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. She was born in Williamsport on March 23, 1938 to the late Harvey Margaret (Sewald) Weymouth.

Edie was a member of Crossroads Church in Jersey Shore. She liked to do jigsaw puzzles and play bingo. Edie also like to play Yahtzee and cards.

Edie is survived by a son, Anthony "T.J." Gennarelli, Jersey Shore, a sister, Eleanor Baier, Nippenose Valley, and her very dear friend, Marilyn Jones, Lock Haven.

In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Omar G. "Sonny" Markle, Jr., a daughter, Michele Gennarelli, two sisters, and one brother.

A Memorial Service for Edith will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 5:00pm at the Crossroads Church chapel at 1454 PA-44, Jersey Shore with Pastor John Phillips officiating. There will be a private family burial.
