JERSEY SHORE - Duane D. Myers, 80, of Mifflin Twp, Lycoming County passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Williamsport Hospital.

Duane was born January 17, 1937 in Albany, NY a son of Elmer and Helen (Bloom) Myers.  He was employed earlier in life with Piper Aircraft of Lock Haven, Bills Arco and Mardens.  Duane was currently employed as the Courier Delivery Man for CVS Pharmacy the former Lehman's Pharmacy in Jersey Shore.  He was a member, former treasurer and trustee of the Lighthouse Weslyan Church of Jersey Shore.  Duane also enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife the former Dolores (Bechdel) whom he married September 14, 1962; one daughter, Debbie L. Baker (Michael) of Wilmington, NC, four grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.  Duane was predeceased by two daughters, Diane Leigh in 1986 and Doreen in 2007 and a brother Elwood.

Duane's Tribute of Life will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Lighthouse Weslyan Church, 220 High Street, Jersey Shore, with his Pastor Joseph H. Wells officiating.  Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
