Donald D. Boyer, 94 of Jersey Shore passed away Wednesday morning August 18, 2021 at Manor Care in Jersey Shore where he was guest for a short time.  He was born in Avis, October 3, 1926 a son of Charles W. and Anna Boyer.

Don was married to the former Lois M. Shultz who passed away in 1990.  He was an acetylene welder for Piper Airport for 43 years.  He enjoyed fishing and tying flies.  Don was a member of the Jersey Shore American Legion and a former member of he C.O.O. Moose of Jersey Shore.  He was a WWII United States Navy Veteran.

Don's survivors include his daughter Diana Heaton (Harold) of McElhatten,  two grandchildren; Amy Lanning (Robert) of Jersey Shore, Stacey LeVan (Kevin) of State College,  four great grandchildren; Alex, Jake, Trent and Hailey and one great great grandson Colson.  He was predeceased by his siblings Charles & Dorothy.

Don's graveside services will be held at 1pm Tuesday August 24, 2021 at Rest Haven Memorial Park Woolrich with the Frank Hartzel officiating. Full Military honors will be accorded by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard. His family suggests contributions be made to the S.P.C.A. 2805 Reach Road Williamsport, PA 17701
