LINDEN - Dennis W. Smith, 70, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2025 at UPMC Williamsport.  He was born in Jersey Shore on March 18, 1954, a son of Allen W. and Cathryn Cohick Smith.

He was a truck driver his whole life driving for Simon Resources which is now Simms Metal.  He retired in September of last year with over 50 years of experience.  Dennis was a member of the Billy O. Brandt V.F.W. in Jersey Shore.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed visiting and telling stories to anyone and he told them with such a great sense of humor.  He enjoyed animals, especially horses and his special cat Bella.

He is survived by his wife Karen J. Yearick.  They were united in marriage June 22, 1996.  One brother Barry Smith of Jersey Shore.  Nieces Brittany Turner and Debra Howard along with nephews Duane and Keith.  He was predeceased by a sister Irene Young and a nephews Kevin and Rick.

In keeping with Denny's wishes there will be no visitation or services.  His family suggests contributions be made to the S.P.C.A.  2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701
