JERSEY SHORE - David G. Fox, 73, of Jersey Shore, died at his residence on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

He was born on September 01, 1943 in Danville and was the son of the late Kenneth R. and Dorothy (Hammersley) Fox.  He graduated from Williamsport High School.  David was a veteran of the US Army and he worked and retired from the Williamsport Post Office garage after 33 years service.  He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed working on, trading and buying cars.

David is survived by four daughters; Paula M. Yeomans (Mike) of Duncan, AZ, Brenda L. Fioretti (Joseph) of Williamsport, Doria M. Fox and companion Daniel Morgret of Montoursville and Loretta L. Good (Kevin) of Montoursville, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one sister; Donna Starn of Orlando, FL.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter; Marlene Briel, one brother; Ronald Fox and his beloved dog "Chrissy".

There will be a gathering of family and friends 1 – 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, PA where the memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Chaplain Dave Fishell, of Susquehanna Hospice will officiate the service.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
