Brent S. Young, of Lake Ariel, PA, passed away on August 15, 2026 at the age of 54. Born on January 21, 1972 in Williamsport, PA, Brent was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather whose life was marked by his dedication to his family, career, and personal interests.

Brent earned his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1994, followed by an M.B.A. in Industrial Management in 2000. He applied his education with distinction throughout his career at Siemens Industry, Inc., Building Technologies Division. Starting in June 2008, Brent played an integral role in operations and management, progressing through various leadership positions. From Operations Manager to Zone Quality Manager, and then to Senior Project Manager, he ultimately excelled as Operations Manager II.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brent had a passion for sports, both as a participant and spectator. He found joy in fishing, kayaking, traveling, visiting Pennsylvania’s state parks, and golfing. An avid lover of the outdoors, he cherished moments spent with his beloved family amidst nature’s beauty, especially landing that great catch while fishing.

Brent is survived by his loving parents, William P. Young, Jr. and Judy M. Young, his devoted wife Cindy L. (Kneasel) Young, and his cherished children: son Evan J. Young and his partner Courtney, daughters Lauren K. Young and her husband Brandon Hall, Morgan A. Young, and stepdaughter Samantha M. Heishman and her husband Clint. Brent was also the proud grandfather of Isaiah C. Young, Amaya A. Young, and step-grandchild James L. Heishman. He leaves behind his dear sister, Lori Fravel, and her husband Duke, along with one nephew, two nieces, and numerous friends and colleagues who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Brent's life will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 1 PM at Little Pine State Park, Pavilion #2, located at 4205 Little Pine Creek Rd, Waterville, PA 17776 with Celebrant Troy Showers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, located at 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
