Betty J. (Myers) Weiler, 93, a lifetime resident of Jersey Shore, passed away, Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 at Manor Care in Jersey Shore.  She was born Nov. 22, 1924 the daughter of the late Hugh and Maude (Shultz) Myers.

Betty graduated from Jersey Shore Senior High School and also Miss Wheators Business School.  She was married to Gordon O. "Gordy" Weiler; they were married for 62 years before he passed away March 14, 2007.

Betty had been employed as a secretary at Piper Aircraft and was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Jersey Shore.

Betty is survived by a son, David of Nashville, NC and a daughter, Wendy of Jersey Shore.

There will be no services at this time and burial will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore.
