Seely W. Hanford, 86, of Cogan Station, passed away on April 17, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Seely was born in Larrysville on December 11, 1932, where he grew up one of four children. He was the son of Guy and Rita (Kramer) Hanford. Seely is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Connie (Spotts) Hanford.
Seely is preceded in death by his first wife Edna (Harer) Hanford, his second wife, Sandra Hanford, a sister, Mary Hobbs, and a brother, Joseph Hanford.
Seely is lovingly remembered by his children, Dwayn (Angie) Hanford, Barbara (Dennis) Snell, Leslie (Jill) Hanford, Joseph (Linda) Hanford, and Robert (Mona) Hanford and step children Chris (Roy) McNeal, Kathy (Rusty) Taylor, Penny (Craig) Mutchler, Joan (Sam) Joines, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two sisters, Judy (James) Maxwell, and Sandy (Ernest) Rojahn.
A Memorial Service to celebrate the many chapters that Seely had in his life will be held at 11:00am on April 29, 2019 at City Church, 36 E. Fourth Street, Williamsport with Nessie Whaly officiating.
