Sandra "Sandy" J. (Brown) Moyer

Sandra J.”Sandy” Moyer, 71, of Jersey Shore passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, 2017, at U.P.M.C. Susquehanna in Williamsport.

She was born in Jersey Shore June 17, 1946 the daughter of H. Eugene and Bernadine Messner Brown.   She was a Jersey Shore High School graduate.  Sandy married Richard L. Moyer June 17, 1966 and he survives. 

Sandy was employed by the Jersey Shore School District administrative offices for over 41 years in the accounts payable department.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was very active with Bible Study and kitchen activities.  She was a bloodmobile volunteer and enjoyed silk crafts, bird watching and puzzles.   Sandy loved being with her two grandchildren Malin and Kallie

Besides her husband Rick she is survived by two sons:  Richard E Moyer and Michael A Moyer (Wendy) of Jersey Shore and her two granddaughters Malin and Kallie.

Sandy’s Life Celebration service will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 am from Trinity United Methodist Church 1407 Allegheny St.,  Jersey Shore where a visitation will be held from 9:00 until service time.  Interment will follow in Jersey Shore Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Red Cross 320 E Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or the S.P.C.A.  2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
