JERSEY SHORE - Pamela B. Frye, 68, passed away at her residence early Friday morning, May 24, 2019.
She was born July 23, 1950 in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Bobby and Doris Rainey McCloskey. She was a Jersey Shore High School graduated and married Leonard C. Frye on June 23, 1967 and who survives.
Pam was employed as a quality assurance inspector for West Pharmaceuticals in Jersey Shore. She retired in 2012 with over 15 years of employment. At one time she was a very active member of Citizens Hose and Ambulance Co., of Jersey Shore, where she was an EMT and fire fighter. She thoroughly enjoyed camping at the North 40 in Haneyville and was affectionately known as the “Cat Lady.”
Besides her husband Len, of nearly 52 years, she is survived by her children, Blair E. Frye (Katja) of Williamsport, Danielle E. Dangle (Allen) of Jersey Shore, Erin A. Frye of Lock Haven, Abagail Helm (Sidney) of Lock Haven and Allison Frye (Jake DeFonzo-Hess) of Lock Haven; five grandchildren, Britnee, Brendan, Austin, Brock and David; two step grandchildren, Kimberly and Elizabeth; and one great-granddaughter, Isabella; one sister, Priscilla Runk of Lock Haven. She was preceded in death by her son Eric L. Frye, July 23, 1999 and grandson, Christopher Tetanich, March 26, 2002.
Pam’s Tribute of Life Service will be held at 7 P.M. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore with the Reverend Kenneth Lynn officiating.
Her family suggest contributions be made to the Beckoning Cat Project, 1417 East Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
