Kristan Louise McMorris

Kristan Louise McMorris, age 56, passed away peacefully following a brief illness while residing at the ManorCare Health Services Facility in Jersey Shore, PA on February 22, 2018. Kristan was born May 24, 1961 to David L. McMorris and Carol S. McMorris. Born with severe mental retardation, Kristan was cared for by wonderful caregivers throughout her life. Although she did not speak, she had a unique sense of humor and a feisty way of communicating her opinions with others.

Kristan was preceded in death by her father, David L. McMorris.  She is survived by her mother, Carol S. McMorris and siblings: Karen M. Smethers, Scott D. McMorris, Marc S. (Jan) McMorris, and Kelly M. (Dale) Frank and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at ManorCare Health Services Facility for their dedication to caring for Kristan during the past two years and the devoted caregivers who loved and watched over her at the Community Services Group Home in Lock Haven for many, many years.

We give thanks for her life and give praise that she is now with her Heavenly Father.
