Kenneth M. McCracken, 60, of Jersey Shore, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at WellSpan York Hospital, York. Ken was born in Williamsport August 27, 1957 to the late Kenneth E. and Lois M. (Willits) McCracken.

Ken was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He worked as a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Lock Haven Hospital and Local Home Health Agencies. Ken served on the Zoning Hearing Board and the AYSO Youth Soccer Board for several years. He was also a clinical educator for Occupational Therapy Students at Penn College.

He enjoyed weight lifting and bicycling, completing a 100 mile bike ride for WGRC. Ken was an avid hockey and football fan. His favorite hockey teams were the Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins. Notre Dame was his favorite college team. Ken’s favorite professional teams were Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Christine I. (Wilson) McCracken, a son, Mitchell McCracken and his fiancé, Natasha Crumpton, Okinawa, Japan; two daughters, Caitlin Litzelman (Christopher), Virginia Beach, Virginia; Casey Straw (Daniel) Portales, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Colton and Cylus Litzelman, Virginia Beach, Virginia, a sister, Sherry Henninger (Bill), Jersey Shore, and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will take place at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, LTD. 1002 Allegheny St. Jersey Shore, with Pastor Jeffery Howell officiating. Burial will be at Jersey Shore Cemetery, 1103 Locust St., Jersey Shore. 

Friends and family are invited to visit from 6:00-8:00PM on Friday, June 15, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation at 200 South East 1st St. Suite 800 Miami, FL 33131 or to the Lycoming County SPCA at 2805 Reach Rd. Williamsport, PA 17701.
