Obituary

LAKELAND, FLORIDA - Harry L. Seaman, Sr., 81, formerly of Jersey Shore, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, FL.

He was married on July 25, 1959 to Adda Jane (Feerrar), who survives, and they have celebrated 60 years as husband and wife.

Harry was born in Miller Township, Perry County on March 31, 1938.  He had worked with Baltimore Life Insurance then Jersey Shore State Bank, where he retired after 32 years’ service.  He was a member of the Church at the Mall, Lakeland, FL.  He enjoyed coin collecting.

In addition to his wife Adda Jane, he is survived by two sons; Jack Seaman (Jessiemae) of Williamsport and Harry Seaman, Jr. (Cathy) of Cincinnati, OH, one daughter; Jill Collins (Tom) of Lakeland, FL, seven grandchildren; Emily Collins, Kelsie Collins, Kaylin Collins, Paige Collins, Michael Seaman, Kyle Seaman (Stella) and Ben Seaman, one great-grandchild; Aerith Garnet Seaman, one brother; Ronald Seaman and one sister; Anna Mae Baker.

There will be a public viewing 9-11 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.  Following the viewing, there will be a procession to the Jersey Shore Cemetery where the graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m.  Grant Helsel will officiate the service.
