Jere Heivly Obituary

Jere L. (Vairo) Heivly, 61, of Jersey Shore, passed away, Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 at Manor Care in Jersey Shore. She was born Sept. 3, 1957, in Jersey Shore, the daughter of, the late Charles and Irene Vairo. She graduated from the Jersey Shore Area Senior High School and was married to Joel Heivly for 37 years.

Jere was employed as a clerk by the PA Liquor Store in State College. She enjoyed knitting, reading, listening to books on tape and loved to go fishing with her husband. She was a member of the Garman Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband Jere is survived by a son, Joel Heivly, of Linden.

There will be no services. Arrangements have been in entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore.
