Esther A (Walker) Koch

Esther A. Koch, 101, a resident of Valley View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Montoursville passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017.  She was formerly of Jersey Shore.

She was born December 19, 1915 in Jersey Shore the daughter of the late William and Cora Mae Stabley Walker.  She was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School and was employed as a clerk for Kresge’s in Williamsport.   She was united in marriage in 1944 to Phillip A. Koch who passed May 29, 1982.  She also had two sisters precede her in death, Reba Dildine and Hazel Sellinger.  She was a member of Fairlawn Community Church, Cogan Station and enjoyed gardening, flowers and reading.

Her survivors include one son Larry R. Koch (Barbara) of McElhattan; Two grandchildren Duane Koch (Christine) of Woolrich and Stacy Edkin (Eric) of Salladasburg and four great-grandchildren Allison, Jocelyn, Lucas and Avery and a special friend Brenda Scott.
