David Paul "Peasel" Fuller

JERSEY SHORE - David Paul “Peasel” Fuller, 86, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

He was married to the former Gloria E. (Sellinger) on March 1, 1958 and they have celebrated 61 years together.

David was born on January 17, 1933 in Jersey Shore and was the son of the late Samuel H. and Henrietta (Barto) Brown Fuller, Sr.  He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He worked as a truck driver, worked at selling cars and mobile homes, then worked for AVCO Lycoming and retired in 1992.  He was a member of a non-denominational group, the Jersey Shore American Legion and American Legion Riders.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, shooting pool, driving his antique cars in the parades and car shows.  He was an all-around handyman who was also a very loving and caring person.  He enjoyed going to Speedy’s/Dandy’s for his coffee with the fellas.

In addition to his wife Gloria, he is survived by three sons; William E. Fuller and Randy L. Fuller (Dawn Lebert) all of Jersey Shore and Timothy P. Fuller (Rene Keen) of Trout Run, four daughters; Joy L. Fuller (Donald Rickard), Cathy M. Fuller (Jeff Weidler) and Cindy L. Fuller (William Heggenstaller), all of Jersey Shore and Mary A. Fuller of Williamsport, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one brother; Eugene Fuller (Vicki) of Salladasburg, one adopted son; Kevin “Jake” Griffith of Jersey Shore and his beloved dog “Smoky”.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son; Robert “Bob” Fuller, twin infant boys; Dennis and Duane Fuller, two brothers; Samuel and William Fuller, one half-brother; Elmer Brown and 2 half-sisters; Alla Smith and Ann Derr.

There will be a public viewing 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Tributes of Life Crematory Chapel, 1000 Hill Alley, Jersey Shore, under the direction of Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home.  All other services will be held at the convenience of the family.
