Daniel T. Woodward

Daniel T. Woodward, 62, of Jersey Shore, passed away Mon. Jan 28, 2019 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.  Born in Detroit MI, Nov. 8, 1956, Daniel was the son of, Thorton J. and Mary Lou (Loner) Woodward.

Daniel was employed for many years by Frito Lay in Williamsport as a Maintenance Mechanic and retired from there in 2013.  On March 31, 1979, he married the love of his life the former, Janice “Sam” Norman and they shared 39 years of marriage together. He was a member of the Polish Club and Washingtonville Fire Hall.  Daniel’s adventurous personality allowed him to enjoy many fun activities in his life such as camping at Hidden Valley Camping Resort in Mifflinburg, riding his Harley and enjoying trips to Sturgis, SD and Daytona Beach for Bike Week. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling, hunting and fishing.  Daniel loved spending time with his family.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife “Sam” , his father, Thorton and stepmother Ruth; three daughters Brynn Stark (Jeremiah), Samantha Miller, Beth Roupp (Derek) all of Jersey Shore; three grandchildren, Ava Budd, Kaylanah and Daniel Stark, and soon to be 4th grandchild Everleigh Roupp.  Daniel is also survived by three brothers, Don, Keith and Tom Woodward; four sisters, Mary Clouser, Diana Huston, Rose Crawley, Deb Woodward; two step-brothers, Jack Ardrey, Doug Marshall, two step-sisters, Dee Stine and Carol McKissick.  There are also numerous nieces, nephews, and many good friends who survive Daniel.

 He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou Marshall, a granddaughter, Emily Woodward, step-father, Bill Marshall and a step-mother, Joanne Woodward.

The family will receive family and friends for a tribute of life Memorial Service to be held Friday, Feb. 1, 2019 from 2-4 pm at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore.
